"HABUTAEMOCHI"

Habutaemochi is a very soft, smooth, fine and thin type mochi confection.
Steame mochi-rice flour and mixed with sugar and  mizuame(thick starch syrup) and then knead it well.
"habutae" is name of a silk fabrics. It is special product of Fukui. Habutaemochi named from the fabrics.

."YOMOGI HABUTAEMOCHI"

Habutaemochi is normally white color, however "Yomogi habutaemochi" is different.
Because it was mixed with Yomogi leaves(mugwort), to which it imparts its fresh, springlike fregrance and vivid green coloring.

"HABUTAE ORIHIME"

This is a also different types of Habutaemochi. Habutaemochi is covered with Kinako. Inside of the habutaemochi there are walnuts. kinako (literally“yellow powder”), known as soybean flour. In order to create the soybean flour, soybeans are toasted and ground into powder.

"CHOCOLATEIRI  HABUTAEMOCHI"

The shape of habutaemochi is normally rectangle.
However, this is a small round habutaemochi stuffed with chocolate source.
It is a kind of mixture of "Wa"(Japanese) and "Yo"(Western).
